Bio
Steven Boehm is a Chicagoland based photographer specializing in family portrait and event photography.
I got my first Nikon in 1981, spending weekends in my Grandfather's darkroom. I still shoot Nikon, but don't obsess on gear. My value as a photographer comes from my eye and not the camera in my hand.
I love photographing people in natural settings but I also have a full mobile studio with backdrops and strobes.

I focus on capturing a moment in time, whether it's portraiture, an event. I want to help you preserve your precious memories forever. I take the time to ensure your needs are fully met. I am passionate about my craft and the art of photography.
I am well versed in wedding and event photography.
I'm always experimenting with new techniques. I'm obsessed with finding beauty in people and things. I strive to make my subjects feel comfortable so that I may best capture their true spirit in my photographs.
